‘Sheltered in Oak’ awarded at Hungary film festival

Iran documentary ‘Sheltered in Oak’ has won the animation special award at the 10th Media Wave International Film Festival in Hungary.

Directed by Iranian Mehdi Nourmohammadi, ‘Sheltered in Oak’ was awarded at the festival’s latest edition, which was held in May, 2017.

The documentary aims to introduce Iranian squirrels and show the peaceful coexistence of the animal with the oak trees.

Located in Ilam Province, the forests of oaks are sanctuaries for this little gnawing animal.
